How to Check Your Vehicle's Compliance Status
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) provides a public database to verify if a heavy-duty vehicle is compliant with the Clean Truck Check (HD I/M) program.
Step 1: Have your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ready.
Step 2: Click the button below to open the official CARB Vehicle Compliance Status Lookup tool.
Step 3: Enter your VIN and complete the security captcha.
Understanding Your Results:
🔴 Result: "Not Compliant" or "Testing Past Due" If your vehicle shows as non-compliant, you are at risk of a DMV registration hold or citation. You need an emissions test immediately. The Solution: Don't panic.
